[Note, 2016: This entry is imported from a now-defunct website which had efficient statistical reporting]
Passing your mouse over a website is akin to leaving random pages from your diary in a shop. Walking the line between research and nosey-parkering, I frequently check where site visitors have clicked through from. For such a niche site, Clone Guilt generates some absurdly high Google rankings. Recent favourites:
— February 2008: Google Bangladesh search for “civilisation is dead”; cloneguilt.co.uk is second entry.
— May 2008: Google.co.uk search for “cloning deaths between 1996 2001”; cloneguilt.co.uk/news is the first entry.
What we have learnt:
1) Google Bangladesh has a very attractive typeface.
2) Clone Guilt really isn’t connecting with its target demographic.
